Naredco launches IDAC platform, organises seminar on “Innovative Building Materials & Construction Technologies”

New Delhi, 30th November, 2018: National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), an apex real estate body which works under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs organised a Seminar on Innovative Building Materials & Construction Technologies and Launched IDAC Exhibition & Intelligence Series 2018-19. It was held on 30th November, 2018 in New Delhi and was an effort to provide the single largest platform showcasing Innovative Building Materials & New Construction Technologies.

Keeping the current Infrastructure scenario in mind, a broad business concept like IDAC has been created to fulfill market demands. IDAC is a platform responsible in widening the scope for companies/ manufacturers to uplift their products and business and showcase it to its numerous customers in Building & Infrastructure Sector. Upgrading building constructions, building materials, machinery, projects, methods and upgrading overall infrastructural development are some of the objectives that IDAC aims to achieve.

The IDAC Intelligence Series 2018 – 2019 is a parallel measure to IDAC Expo 2018 – 2019, positioned to capture the true essence of Information, Innovation and Technology in the Infrastructure, Development, Architecture and Construction nationwide. The concept engages case study presentations aimed at effective analytics. The series will suffice to be an umbrella for all innovation, information, technology and knowledge based activities that are key factors in engaging focused professional in large numbers. The Series travels through 7 states, engaging the most brilliant minds in the realm of Architecture, Construction and Engineering.

Commenting on the seminar held in the capital recently Mr. Rajeev Talwar, Chairman, NAREDCO said, “Innovative and upgraded construction practices are the need of the hour. Delayed projects, escalation in the repair and replacement costs, more attention is now being paid to durability, Innovative materials and machinery. The seminar covered diverse topics on overall infrastructure development and brought to light the best practices.”

Mr. Parveen Jain, Vice Chairman, NAREDCO said, “The high point of the seminar was to unleash information, innovation and technology in the areas of Infrastructure, Development, Architecture and Construction.

Sharing his thoughts on the Seminar Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani, President NAREDCO said “Superior construction techniques, equipments and expertise can help implement housing projects ably and in lesser time and effectively save the overall construction cost. Advances in construction techniques can help carry out projects in a shorter time span and with minimized resources. This will give real estate developers an edge and will be able to lubricate dwelling units to all by 2022 which is in-sync with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision.” The IDAC Exhibition which will be held in Mumbai in February 15th to 17th will prove to be a single point platform for Knowledge, awareness & sourcing Innovative new Materials & Technologies fir projects.

Mr. Rajive Kumar (Retd. IAS), Chairman RERA UP was the Chief Guest. While the Guest of Honour at the Seminar was IAS. Samir Kumar, Director RERA Haryana.
