CBRE Elevates Anshuman Magazine; Middle East, Africa Added to His Existing Leadership Responsibilities for India and Southeast Asia


CBRE Group Inc. today announced that Anshuman Magazine, Chairman, India & Southeast Asia, will assume responsibility for two additional geographies – the Middle East and Africa, effective on January 1, 2019. Mr. Magazine’s elevation and increased responsibilities are part of the company’s previously announced global reorganization.
Martin Samworth, Group President and CEO, EMEA said, “Anshuman has orchestrated the strong growth of CBRE’s business across India and Southeast Asia. He is the perfect leader to help us build our capabilities and market share in a new division that will encompass 22 countries across India, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. We are very enthusiastic about having Anshuman in this key leadership role.”

With close to 25 years at CBRE, Mr. Magazine has grown the India business from a handful of employees to over 8,000 today, offering a full range real estate solutions. These include Strategic Consulting, Advisory & Transaction services, Retail, Valuations/Appraisals, Industrial & Logistics, Capital Markets, Asset Services and Project Management.
Mr. Magazine is a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s largest Industry body. Additionally, he has been designated as the Chairman of the South Asia Board for RICS. Anshuman is also the India Chapter Board Member of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA).
