Cushman & Wakefield Announces Key Leadership Appointments in India


Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s leading real estate services company, announces the appointment of Anand Gupta as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer – India, and Rohan Sharma as Head of Research for India. In their roles, they will provide the critical support in delivering our vision to Be What’s Next in Indian real estate
Anand has been with Cushman & Wakefield for over 15 years handling important positions and managing myriad critical assignments within the finance function in his previous roles. With his elevation to the exciting role as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer – India, the company is confident that the finance domain will immensely benefit from his strategic leadership, that he has demonstrated over the years.
Anand Gupta, Chief Financial Officer, Cushman & Wakefield India: At Cushman & Wakefield, we have always strived to deliver best in class solutions for our clients. Having been with the organization for over 15 years, I have witnessed the growth of the organization in India from close quarters. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to lead the finance function and look forward to delivering exceptional operational results for our business.
By providing strategic leadership for the India Research team pan-India, Rohan will play a pivotal role in generating bold and futuristically inclined insights that would better forecast the understanding of changing markets & opportunities for our clients. He comes with a combined experience of over 12 years in real estate, spread across research and advisory fields across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Rohan has worked with one of the IPC’s for close to eight years, leading their North India vertical. He did seminal work for large private equity players and developers across NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Some of the key clients he has serviced include Blackstone, GIC, Shapoorji-Pallonji-Allianz, DLF, Hines and Bharti Realty.
Rohan Sharma, Head of Research, Cushman & Wakefield India: It gives me immense pride on assuming responsibility of Research which is a key differentiator at Cushman & Wakefield. With a well-rounded team which has delivered insights that back strategic real estate decisions for our clients , I expect my role to be unique and challenging as we go about breaking new ground in our quest for knowledge sharing.
