DLF Club5 celebrates Mother`s Day, themed around wellness and nutrition

May 11, Gurugram: DLF5 celebrated this Mother`s Day with interactive sessions focused on motherhood and womanhood at the premises of Club5 on 11th May, Saturday. Starting 10:30 am onwards, the event included sessions on health, nutrition wellness, and the achievements of women who are mothers, by experts and women achievers from diverse fields. People from all age groups were present on the occasion.

The event was open for all, including three sessions on three diverse topics. In the first session, Dr. Alok Chopra from Daivam Wellness addressed the mothers of Gurugram, educating them about the well being of Mind-Body-Soul.  Daivam team brought equipment called- BIOWELL- an Advanced Instrument for measuring Human Wellness. It’s a Non-Invasive Approach to see the energy-light-information of an individual’s bio-field and Chakras. The result gave an insight on how to harmonize one`s mind-body-soul.
“It was a beautifully curated event focusing on every aspect of motherhood. There were so many things to learn and implement in our day to day lives. I attended all the sessions and loved each one of them. It was a unique and essential way of celebrating Mother`s Day.” said Priti Dalal, a resident of DLF5.
Further, in the second session, Meghna Naraynan, along with another speaker from Slurrp Farm talked about the importance of super grain- revival of millets. Founded by two mothers, Slurrp Farm raises awareness about healthy eating for children by giving parents convenient food options which are as good as what one would make at home. At the event, ladies present sampled their delicious and healthy products- spinach dosas, beetroot dosas.
Last but not the least, the third session saw Simmi Bhasin, the founder of “Women Who Win” in an interactive session talking about women who restarted their journeys in life and made a success of it.  WOMEN WHO WIN is a group that believes in the power of sisterhood to empower women entrepreneurs, start-ups, professionals and home-makers.
