Expanding its range of LED products, Halonix aims to double its turnover by 2021

Bullish over its participation in Light India 2016 expo organised by ELCOMA India, Halonix is looking to obtain business worth Rs 100 crore during the mega event

New Delhi, 5th October, 2016: Halonix Technologies, one of the country’s most progressive and environment friendly lighting companies, is betting big on the LED revolution, encouraged by PM Modi’s ambitious Make in India programme.  With its wide and unmatched range of superior LED products, the company is looking to increase its turnover two-fold in the next five years.

“Due to our constantly growing business penetration in the LED segment we have already achieved a turnover of Rs 350 crore last year in which 55% contribution is from LED category . We further aim to achieve Rs 750 crore in the next five years. With our completely indigenous base, we are aiming at an exponential growth in the upcoming times,” said Mr. Rakesh Zutshi, Managing Director, Halonix Technologies Limited.

With the widest range of products across LED, Luminaires, Home Decorative Lighting, Commercial & Industrial Lighting, Street Lighting, Flood Lighting, Halogens and High Intensity discharge Lamps among others, Halonix is one of the largest players in the LED lighting segment in the country.  Currently present in 20 states, the company already has a stronghold in northern and eastern states, Gujrat and Rajasthan. Now the company is looking to tap new territories across, Maharashtra and South India like Andhra, Telengana, Karnataka, Kerela etc.

“We are already in the process of expanding our distribution network across the country to achieve our growth targets. Off course, Halonix is getting the benefits of being  one of the very few established brands active in LED segment ,” added Mr. Zutshi.

Moreover, the company is very bullish over its participation in the upcoming Light India 2016 exhibition, which is India’s largest B2B trade fair being organised by Electric Lamp and Component Manufacturers’ Association (ELCOMA) India in which  it aims to obtain business worth Rs 100 crore during the mega event being held in New Delhi from October-5 to 7. Light India is India’s largest bi-annual B2B trade fair for the lighting Industry.

Elated about his recent election as the President of ELCOMA, the apex body of the Lighting Manufacturers in India, Mr. Zutshi said, “At ELCOMA my immediate aim is to transform India into a global manufacturing and export hub of superior, but economical LED products. We are thankful to the government’s continuous support in generating awareness among people for using energy efficient LED bulbs which are much more economical to conserve power.”

Mr. Zutshi added, “The government’s efforts towards making the LED revolution a success in the country are highly commendable which has helped considerably in bringing down the prices and expanding the markets for the LED products for the common men.”
