Hitachi Secures Elevator & Escalator Order for CRC Group’s Noida Project
New Delhi / October 17, 2024: Hitachi Ltd. announced on Thursday that its subsidiaries, Hitachi Building Systems Co., Ltd. and Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd., have secured an order from CRC Group for the supply of 56 elevators and escalators. The units will be installed at CRC The Flagship in Noida. Hitachi Lift India will be responsible for the sales, installation, and maintenance of the elevators and escalators across India, a press statement from Hitachi stated.
The order includes 44 elevators, including high-speed models with speeds of 150 and 180 metres per minute, as well as 12 escalators. Additionally, a destination floor reservation system will be implemented to efficiently allocate elevator cars. The elevators are equipped with an earthquake emergency operation system that detects seismic activity and safely stops the elevator at the nearest floor, allowing passengers to exit without getting trapped, the statement added.
