Home Minister inaugurates NIA complexes in Hyderabad & Guwahati


New Delhi, 1st March: Honourable Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today inaugurated two new office-cum-housing complexes of National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Hyderabad and Guwahati, built by Navratna CPSE NBCC (India) Ltd. at an approx. cost of Rs. 77 crore.
The Hyderabad NIA complex, an all-inclusive project, spread over 12,572 sqm has been constructed at an approx. cost of Rs. 37 crore and it consists of both administrative and residential flats for its staffers.
The Guwahati project entailed a cost of Rs.40 crores and has a built-up area of 9,830 sqm. Besides various office buildings and residential quarters, it also has barracks for jawans, and a community centre. The all-encompassing project incorporates earth retaining wall and has also been beautifully landscaped.
Speaking on the projects, Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) said, “NBCC has been earning laurels in developing and constructing world-class structures. We believe in the qualitative delivery of our assignments which are incorporated with modern amenities. We have successfully delivered NIA Delhi office which is equipped with efficient modern communications systems besides other facilities.”
“We have a strong portfolio of constructing offices and complexes for law enforcement agencies like CBI, NIA and SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) ensuring delivery with definite timelines. The NIA and CBI offices in the national capital have been built by NBCC and are rated as state-of-the-art complexes,” Dr Mittal said.
NBCC has been regularly securing contracts for the construction of prestigious projects across the country and overseas, in diversified segments such as national security, healthcare, education, roads & railways, urban redevelopment, commercial and office complexes, etc. due to its impeccable track record of on-time delivery and proficiency in the construction space.
