HomeLane launches first home interiors Studio with an all-women workforce

July 14, 2022: HomeLane launched their first Home Interiors Studio powered by a 100% women workforce, in Bengaluru, located at RR Nagar. Aligned with the vision to promote diversity in hiring and empower women coming back to work after a break, HomeLane’s RR Nagar studio will operate with an all-women workforce. This decision was inspired by RR Nagar, which is named after Jnanakshi Rajarajeshwari Temple with the presiding deity as Goddess Sri Rajarajeshwari.
At the new 2027 sq. ft HomeLane studio, the company has appointed women across job roles like Sales, Community, Delivery and Design teams. The Studio enables customers to enjoy a wide variety of warm and cosy home setups for display, explore design ideas and co-create their homes with dedicated design experts.

Sharing his insights, Tanuj Choudhry, COO and Co-Founder, HomeLane said, “Bengaluru has been a very promising market for HomeLane and we are excited to launch our 10th Studio in the city. What is more unique about our new unit at RR Nagar, is that all employees at the Studio are women. At HomeLane, we have always taken cohesive steps to bring a paradigm shift in the industry. Today over 29% of our overall workforce comprises of women but the vision behind this new studio is to empower more women in the home interior industry, even the larger cohort who have taken a break from work due to socio-economic factors. ”
