Mumbai, December 5, 2024: KONE India has unveiled its I MonoSpace® SMART, KONE I MiniSpace™ and KONE A MonoSpace® SMART elevators at the International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators. These elevators integrate safety standards, energy efficiency, and future-ready digital connectivity.
The KONE I MonoSpace® SMART, KONE I MiniSpace™ SMART, and KONE A MonoSpace® SMART are the first elevators in the industry that are fully compliant with the new IS 17900 safety standards. Powered by Programmable Electronic System in Safety-Related Applications for Lifts (PESSRAL) technology, they feature fail-safe redundancy with dual-channel safety controllers to ensure safe operation modes during anomalies. Tamper-proof safety modules prevent unauthorized bypasses, while high-strength door systems and light curtains maximize user safety.
“KONE I MonoSpace® SMART, KONE I MiniSpace™ SMART and KONE A MonoSpace® SMART represent a new era in vertical mobility,” said Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE India. “They bring together unparalleled safety, sustainability, and digital innovation to meet today’s challenges while preparing our customers for the opportunities of tomorrow. We are proud to lead the way in shaping sustainable and digitally connected cities.”
These elevators offer a suite of built-in future-ready features, including AI-powered 24/7 monitoring. Their plug-and-play compatibility ensures seamless integration with modern building systems. Certified secure protocols safeguard user data and system integrity.
Sustainability is a core feature of these elevators with innovations that reduce energy consumption and support green building certifications. Customers can opt for KONE’s revolutionary Regenerative drive technology that recycles up to 30% of energy for use in other systems, while LED lighting and standby modes during idle periods deliver up to 90% energy savings. Additionally, low harmonic distortion ensures efficient operation while protecting building power networks.
These new products feature customizable interiors.
