KONE Launches High-Rise MiniSpace™ DX Elevator in India


December 13, 2024: Elevator giant KONE has introduced the KONE High-Rise MiniSpace™ DX elevator to the Indian market. Designed for taller buildings and the need for modernize existing infrastructure, this elevator combines speed, energy efficiency, and advanced technology.
KONE Managing Director- India & South Asia – Amit Gossain said: “ “With advanced solutions like the High-Rise MiniSpace™ DX elevator and KONE UltraRope® technology, we optimize vertical flow in high-rise buildings, ensuring faster, seamless, and energy-efficient movement.”
The KONE High-Rise MiniSpace™ DX is powered by KONE UltraRope® technology, and is 80 per cent lighter than traditional steel ropes, three times more durable, and capable of reducing energy consumption for a 500-m journey by up to 15per cent.
This elevator can serve buildings over 60 floors. The design includes energy-efficient hoisting motors, LED lighting, standby solutions, and sustainable construction materials.
The KONE High-Rise MiniSpace™ DX features lightweight hoisting technology that minimizes the need for elevator shaft reinforcement, making it ideal for modernizing aging buildings. Modernization can also enhance energy efficiency, cutting the energy consumption of aging elevators by up to 70 per cent.
