MKS Ventures to invest Rs 350 crore to develop Delhi’s first Socio Cultural Centre


North India based real estate major MKS Ventures, has announced an investment of Rs 350crore – Rs 400 crore appx to develop Delhi’s first Socio Cultural Centre.
A first of its kind initiative in the National Capital Region, MKS-HUB will be developed in the Twin District Centre-II Rohini, under the PPP (Public Private Partnership) model with Delhi Development Authority.
The project will be spread over the land area of 11 acres, and have a built-up area of 80,000 square metres of which the social and cultural component will occupy 32,000 square metres area while the commercial area will in totality occupy an area of 48,000 square metres.
The project will have an estimated cost of Rs 350- Rs 400 crores and will be completed in three-and-a-half years.
In terms of social aspects, the project will feature Centre for performing arts, Auditorium, Convention and exhibition centers, Open-air amphitheater, Multi-purpose training and meeting rooms, Recreational club, Library and e-library, Centre for visual arts, Hotel, Banquet Halls, Training, Administration offices, besides indoor and outdoor recreational facilities such as swimming pool, club, sports facilities.
MKS HUB, Socio-Cultural Centre will also have dedicated art and cultural zones that will include meditation centre, party lawns, lounge and cards room. The projects commercial components will have aspects like Mall that will include Retail showrooms, shops, boutiques and anchor stores along with family entertainment zones, food court including F&B areas and Cinema halls.
On entertainment front the project will have earmarked family entertainment centre comprising kids zones, gaming zones and kids play area.

In terms of location the project will be built right opposite the expansive 250 acre Japanese park in Rohini and is located only 1 km from the Rohini West metro station, and has all the portents to emerge as a sought after investment proposition with its catchment area of not just Rohini, Pitampura, and other localities of Delhi NCR but also adjacent extensions like Panipat, Sonepat and Rohtak.
