NAR-India hosts annual meet


The National Association of Realtors-India (NAR-India) hosted its eighth annual convention, themed ‘Today towards Tomorrow’, in New Delhi recently. A series of sessions providing insight into the real estate segment were held during the convention.
According to a press release, the convention focused on the ongoing debates in the real estate market development and sustainability of smart cities, both in India and abroad. NAR India also disclosed its agenda for 2017 with an official ceremony where Sam Chopra was announced the new President for 2016-2017.
Hosted by the Association of Property Professionals, Delhi-NCR, the event witnessed participation from more than 100 international and 900 national delegates. K Rahman Khan, RajyaSabha MP and former Union minister, was among the eminent dignitaries who attended the convention.
Supertech CEO Mohit Arora, Sachin Sandhir of RICS, Sanjeev Kathuria (ATS), and Dhruv Agarwala of PropTiger were among those who delivered lectures and engaged in panel discussions.
Tarun Bhatia, President, Association of Property Professionals, Delhi NCR, said, “The event not only enabled the companies to showcase their projects but also gave the participants an opportunity to build new networks.”
