Online Applications Begin for MHADA Tenements Based on Master List


Mumbai, January 16, 2025: MHADA’s Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board, has invited online applications for the allotment of tenements from the original tenants/residents or their legal heirs residing in transit camps, based on eligibility determined from the master list. The deadline for submitting applications is January 31, 2025.
Applicants can register and submit their applications at masterlist.mhada.gov.in.
Who Can Apply?
- This process is intended for the original tenants/residents or their heirs who were issued vacation notices and had to vacate their premises due to the dilapidation or redevelopment of cess properties under MHADA jurisdiction.
- Reside in transit camps as redevelopment of their original buildings is unfeasible du to narrow plots, reservations, or road widening. Have not been permanently allotted any tenements in redeveloped or reconstructed buildings by the board.
How to Apply Online?
- Step 1: Visit MHADA’s website at www.mhada.gov.in and navigate to the Citize Corner section. Click on Application for Masterlist or directly visi masterlist.mhada.gov.in for registration.
- Step 2: Use the email ID and password created during registration to log in. Keep this information secure for future use.
- Step 3: Once logged in, read the instructions and guidelines provided before filling out the application form.
Applicants while making the appeal should be ready with the documents including the scanned copies recent passport-size photo (JPEG format), applicant’s signature or thumb impression (JPEG format), Aadhaar Card (PDF format), vacation notice, old building rent receipt, electricity bill, transit camp tenement allotment and possession receipt (PDF format), Transfer agreement (if applicable) (PDF format).
Individuals already declared eligible by the Master List Committee should not submit new applications. While applicants who have already submitted online applications should not reapply. Besides, those who previously applied offline and have pending cases must reapply online.
After successfully submitting the online application, applicants must submit self-attested copies of their application along with supporting documents within 30 days at Room No. 372, 2nd Floor, MHADA Headquarters, Griha Nirman Bhavan, Kalanagar, Bandra East,
Mumbai – 400051. During the hearing, applicants must carry original documents along with any other related documents. Eligibility and allotment will be decided as per the MHADA Act, 1976, the Rules of 1981, and the provisions outlined in the latest government policies and MHADA regulations.
