With this centre, the company also becomes India’s first workspaces solutions provider to convert and develop an old fort style building into a highly functional and uniquely designed 415+ seater co-working space.

With 3 co-working brands operating across the economy, mid-scale and premium economy segments, namely Workflo, Powerstation and the recently acquired Innov8,  OYO Workspaces is rapidly growing to 22+ centres, 15000+ seats across 10 cities in the country.

The Old Fort Saket centre is spread across three floors with a capacity of 415+ seats in a specially designed and restored heritage styled fort building. The centre is  conveniently located in the heart of South Delhi, next to premium shopping hubs like The Select City Walk, DLF Place Saket mall and District Court Saket. The uniqueness of the campus along with its easily accessible location is already leading to an initial record launch occupancy of 50%. Leading brands and startups booking spaces currently include BBC, Brut India, AngelList, Herbalife, Avalon Consulting and NIVI Inc, etc. The new centre offers a meeting room starting at an introductory price of INR 600 per hour and a dedicated desk starting at an affordable price of INR 12999/- per month. Speaking at the opening, Rohit Kapoor, CEO, New Real Estate Businesses, OYO, said “This is a moment of pride for the entire OYO Workspaces team as this is the first time a coworking centre has been built in an old fort style. The centre is a perfect combination of old world charm and modern design, making it a unique proposition for the millennial workforce. Given OYO’s deep real estate and market intelligence, this centre is a testament to our expertise in upgrading various forms of real estate and rapidly transforming them into efficient, connected and beautiful workspaces. So far, we have received an overwhelming response and we expect to keep setting new benchmarks for the industry.”

Talking about the new centre, Dr. Ritesh Malik, Founder, Innov8, commented “We’re extremely delighted to launch our newest centre in the heart of South Delhi.  With our Old-Fort Saket centre, we are aiming to infuse India’s rich cultural heritage into a modern workspace. Design is a key differentiator for us and building a breathtaking workspace in a connected and conveniently accessible location makes for a great combination. The space is already becoming a favourite among working professionals and we have achieved record occupancy of  50% at launch. Innov8 will continue to work toward simplifying and strengthening the co-working experience for Indians while tapping the enormous opportunities this space offers.”

At this uniquely designed centre, arches have been prominently used to incorporate historic design elements, while keeping the general tone of the interior space muted with a neutral colour palette. Lighter tones of textures of wood along with flora adds a splash of natural life within the space. OYO Workspaces aims to expand its presence to over 50 centres across India by the end of 2019. Like every OYO Workspaces centre, the new centre will offer a variety of amenities designed to provide a hassle-free, comfortable and productive experience to working professionals.
