Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Launches Digital Land Records Programme 

Udaipur/Delhi, December 16, 2024: Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma has launched the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) for the Amet tehsil in Rajsamand district. This initiative is a significant event in the digitization and modernization of land records in Rajasthan, which aims to bring transparency, accuracy, and accessibility to land management systems.

The virtual inauguration, attended by key dignitaries and officials, was celebrated at the Amet tehsil headquarters. Presiding at the event, MLA Surendra Singh Rathor highlighted the project’s importance in empowering the farming community and landowners. He said, “This initiative will ensure accurate, accessible, and transparent land records for our citizens, removing long-standing hurdles and benefiting rural communities immensely.”

The Chief Minister’s virtual address underscored the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance public services. He remarked, “This modernization initiative is a step forward in making Rajasthan a leader in digital governance. The modernization is part of the Rajasthan government’s larger vision of empowering citizens and creating a “Samriddh Kisan, Khushhaal Kisan” (Prosperous Farmer, Happy Farmer) environment. Citizens were also handed their updated digital land records during the event.
