Rama Raman opens Credai Western UP’s office, skill development centre at Noida

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) Western UP chapter on Friday inaugurated its first skill development centre, Saksham, for construction workers.

The institute is established within the newly-constructed office of Credai Western UP at Noida. The centre and the office were inaugurated by Noida Development Authority CEO & Chairman Rama Raman. The Guests of Honour at the ceremony were Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Industry, Preetender Singh, SSP, GautamBudh Nagar, Sanjay Singh SP, Rural, and Dinesh Yadav, SP Noida.

Deepak Kapoor, President Credai Western UP,and Manoj Gaur, President, Credai NCR, along with other governing council members of Credai were also present at the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Kapoor said, “We are happy and proud that we are starting this center as a part of our CSR activity and to provide training to the construction workers in their respective fields. Since the infrastructural development and construction work is going on at a large scale in Western UP, there is a huge demand of skilled workforce. Training them in a proper manner is vital so that they learn those required skills and increase their own worth and productivity.”

According to a press release, Saksham would be the first skill development centre in northern India. This initiative is taken by Credai Western UP with a view to providing growth opportunities to construction workers.
