SAIL announces its competition results
The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) on August 28 announced the results of its all-India story writing competition, ‘My Steel Story’.
While Tarun Kumar Soni of Chhattisgarh won the first prize in the Hindi category, the first prize in the English category was won by Debadatta Satpathy of Odisha. In addition, 15 stories were selected for consolation prizes.
All the winners will be awarded SAIL’s branded Salem stainless steel sets comprising various items.
Announcing the results, Anil Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman, SAIL, “A huge number of entries were received from all over the country and this proves that SAIL has truly lived up to its tagline ‘There’s a little bit of SAIL in everybody’s life’”.
The story-writing competition was an initiative by the company to create awareness among people on steel uses.
