Signature gets EDGE certificate from IFC

Signature Global became the first real estate company in Delhi-NCR to receive EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certificate from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
According to a press release, the EDGE certifies Signature Global Park at Sohna, South of Gurugram, for its exemplifying achievement in 32 pc energy savings, 52 pc water savings, and 53 pc less embodied energy in materials.
The International Finance Corporation, a part of the World Bank, established EDGE, a green construction certification system. The certification aims to reduce the impact of buildings on the environment in terms of direct energy consumption, water consumption, and the energy footprint of construction material.
Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) and the SGS-Thinkstep consortium are the two main organisations in charge of the EDGE certification globally, added the release.
