SP E&C wins three at ICC OHS Awards

Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction division (SP E&C) has bagged three awards at the ‘Indian Chamber of Commerce ICC National Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Awards 2020′.

The ICC awards highlighted Shapoorji Pallonji E&C’s excellence in the sphere of OHS for the year 2019-20 for Construction & Infrastructure Sector in the Large Enterprise Category.

The awards were presented at the 2nd National e-Conference on Occupational Health & Safety, “Building a Safe Workplace and Resilient Workforce in the New Normal”.

On receiving the awards, Alok Srivastava, V-P & Corporate Safety Head of SP E&C, said, “The company’s commitment to employee health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as each individual’s daily efforts, enable us to implement critical HSSE protocols and ensure business continuity. We are honored to receive these awards from the Indian Chamber of Commerce.”.”

The SP E&C projects that have won the ICC Awards include: ‘South Asian University Campus’ project at New Delhi received the Gold Award for Construction & Infrastructure Sector in Large Enterprise Category; ‘Shiva Statue’ project at Nathdwara, Rajasthan received the Silver Award for Construction & Infrastructure Sector in Large Enterprise Category; ‘ITPO Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre’ project in New Delhi received the Special Jury Appreciation Award for Construction & Infrastructure Sector in Large Enterprise Category.

The awards ceremony was held via a virtual conclave and the awards were presented by MoS in the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Santosh Kumar Gangwar.
