Square Yards launches app for management of rental property

mobile-phone

Integrated real estate platform Square Yards on September 14 launched an app-based rentals and property management platform, Azuro, aimed at bringing the landlord-tenant relationship online.Square Yards App

The app, apart from enabling property owners to manage showings and get their properties to rent faster, can also get tenant screening and background verification done, digitally sign rent agreements, collect rent online through multiple modes, gain visibility into their property through regular inspection reports and get repair and maintenance services executed all through the click of a button.

For the tenants, it enables swift rental payments including payment through credit cards, downloading of rent receipts with all maintenance issues taken care of.

Tanuj Shori, Founder & CEO of Square Yards

Tanuj Shori, Founder & CEO of Square Yards, said, “Rentals & property management are multi-billion opportunities that are currently under-served in India. Most of the landlords find it cumbersome to attract quality tenants, follow up for rent payments, and most important to serve the frequent demand of tenants for maintenance of the property. Tenants tell us they want the entire rental process to happen online, from property agreements, rent payments, and maintenance requests. We’re excited to bring this entire house rental economy online and provide the backbone technology to manage the end-to-end process.”

Square Yards acquired Mumbai-based start-up Azuro at the beginning of this year and completed its full-stack service spectrum with rentals and property management services. Currently present in five major metro cities, it is already managing 1500+ properties.
