UP RERA defers physical hearing of complaints

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has decided to defer the option of physical hearing of complaints, proposed to be introduced from May 1, in view of increased intensity of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
The Authority at its meeting on March 19 had decided to provide the opportunity of physical hearing to concerned parties on their request w.e.f. May 1. It has been hearing the complaints through virtual mode under the e-courts system.
The virtual hearing of the cases will continue, said a press release.
