UP RERA Introduces Division Bench to Streamline Complaints
Lucknow / Gautambudhh Nagar / September 11, 2024: UP RERA has taken a decision that if ten or more allottees of a particular project, AoA (Association of Allottees) and RWA (Resident Welfare Association) have filed complaints with RERA, the complaints of allottees of such project will be heard by a Division Bench constituted by Chairman U.P. RERA from time to time, UP RERA said in a press statement.
The Division Bench will also hear all the complaints filed by the promoters against the allottees (cross-complaints). It is well known that the nature of the complaints of the allottees of such projects and those by the promoters against the allottees are usually different from other complaints.
In view of this, UP RERA has constituted a Division Bench at its Lucknow headquarters. The statement added that Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman of UP RERA, chairs the Division Bench.
Now, with the constitution of the Division Bench at the Lucknow Headquarters of UP RERA, the complaints will be decided more quickly with uniformity in decisions.
Apprising about the new arrangement, Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman, UP RERA, stated that the Division Bench at Lucknow Headquarters has been established, taking into account the overall interest of all the stakeholders, including allottees. The arrangement of Division Bench will ensure uniformity and equity in decisions in important matters, quick and smooth enforcement of orders. It was further stated by him that UP RERA is working with the objective of rendering comprehensive and speedy justice to the consumers.
