UP RERA issues public notice to promoters to appear in online hearing of complaints

Lucknow/ Gautam Buddha Nagar: U.P. RERA has issued a public notice in newspapers to the promoters located in various districts of state to appear and present their natters in the online hearing of the benches on various dates of the coming month in 28 complaints. The parties who are not appear on various dates in the hearing of various benches of RERA are given a last opportunity to appear through a public notice in the newspapers. Due to non-appearance in the hearing, the grievances of the complainant/party are not being resolved and their hearing has to be scheduled for the next date, which is contrary to the objectives of the RERA Act and against the interests of the allottee.

These complaints are against Palm Estate, IMCO Multi Trade Pvt. Ltd., Shine City Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd. Dwarika Residency, Ganpati Builders, Iconic Infraventures Ltd., Aangi Homes Pvt. Ltd., Manya Infra Buildwell Pvt. Ltd., G.I.D Housing Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Khalsa Real Estate Pvt. Ltd., Omega Infrabuild Pvt. Ltd. And Samridhi Infrastate Pvt. Ltd. etc. To join the hearing through e-court, a link will be sent to the parties’ registered mobile number and e-mail ID 2 days before the scheduled hearing date, by clicking on which the parties can join the hearing from any place. It is known that U.P. RERA is hearing the complaints of complainants through online medium as per the e-court model in which there is no need to go to the U.P. RERA office.

If the promoter does not appear in the hearing even after this public notice, then under the provisions of the RERA Act, the benches will give a unilateral decision keeping in mind the interests of the complainant/allottees, for which the promoters themselves will be responsible, mentions a release issued by the Authority.
