Warning against illegal sale of flats
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on April 25 said it has decided to act against builders who are selling flats illegally and collecting funds from homebuyers.
YEIDA CEO has issued an order warning all builders that if they continue to sell flats in unapproved projects in violation of guidelines, the authority will take legal action against them.
The order comes as many homebuyers are being cheated by realtors in this manner in group housing projects.
The authority has also directed builders to furnish details of flats they have sold.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed all three authorities — Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway — that homebuyers should not face any harassment at the hands of builders.
