YEIDA headless as CEO Garg shifted out again

The CEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has been transferred just a month into his appointment as the Uttar Pradesh Government affected a second reshuffle of its administrative officers during the weekend.
Anil Garg, who took charge of YEIDA on September 22 after a last-minute decision by the Government which had appointed him CEO of Greater Noida the day before, was transferred again on October 20.
Manoj Kumar Rai, OSD at the Noida Authority has been transferred to Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) in the same position. Raihad received his transfer orders about a month ago and he was posted to Lucknow. However, the transfer was later put on hold and he continued his duties at Noida.
Replacements for these two officers have not been announced as yet. According to media reports, the names of CP Singh, who is currently District Magistrate, Mainpuri, and PC Gupta, Additional CEO, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, are doing the rounds for the YEIDA CEO’s post.
These reports also said that 2008-batch IAS officer Vidya Bhushan is among those in the reckoning for Rai’s post or as Secretary, Noida Authority. Bhushan is currently posted in the Land and Revenue Department in the Ghaziabad district administration.
