Yotta to Build High-Performance AI Supercomputer in Hyderabad


Mumbai/Hyderabad / September 10, 2024: Yotta Data Services, a provider of AI, Sovereign Cloud, and digital transformation solutions, has partnered with the Government of Telangana to establish a state-of-the-art AI supercomputer. The supercomputer will be housed within a high-density liquid-cooled data center campus in Hyderabad’s AI City, a statement from Yotta Data said.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (ITE&C), Government of Telangana, and Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD, and CEO of Yotta Data Services, in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, at the Telangana Global AI Summit, the statement added, the statement added.
The first phase of the project, comprising 4,000 high-performance GPUs and the Yotta H1 data center, is expected to be operational within the next two years.
Upon completion, the supercomputer, powered by 25,000 GPUs, and the 50 MW AI Cloud Data Center campus will play a pivotal role in transforming Hyderabad’s AI City into a global center of excellence, Yotta said in its statement.
