Bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 to showcase latest products and innovations in construction and infrastructure sector.
November 27, 2018: The regional media dialogue for bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 was held on November 27, 2018 at Le Meridian, Delhi. bauma CONEXPO INDIA is the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles.
Mr. Tushar Alekar, Commercial Director, Messe München India Pvt. Ltd. addressed the regional media highlighting bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 and the latest trends in the CE Industry, in India and globally.
The representatives from Volvo Group (Pte) Ltd., DOKA, Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd., Kobelco Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd., Action Construction Equipment Ltd, Peri and L & T were present at the media dialogue.
The fourth edition of the trade fair saw participation of 32,644 participants and 647 exhibitors from 30 countries which occupied a total of 150,000 square meters of space. bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 is expecting over 40,000 participants from over 50 countries with exhibition space of 195,000 square meters.
The 5th edition of the trade fair to take place from 11-14 Dec at HUDA grounds, Gurugram will bring together around 700 Indian and global suppliers, manufacturers, importers, dealers, influencers, service providers, catering to various segments of the Construction Equipment industry and also provide a professional platform for networking, investment and exchange of ideas.
bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018 will discuss various challenges of the CE industry and deliberate on the solutions and opportunities provided by the Indian market to the CE industry. The trade fair will also discuss the latest technologies and the upcoming trends in the industry through panel discussions, informative sessions and seminars.
According to “India Construction Equipment Market by Segment, by product type, Competition Forecast & Opportunities, FY2012 – FY2024”, construction equipment market is to grow at a CAGR of 6.8% during FY18-FY24 in India, on account of the country’s expanding construction industry. Rapid urbanization, increasing foreign investments and surging demand for customized equipment are few of the other major factors expected to boost demand for construction equipment in India in the coming years.
The Buyer – Seller Program will be debuting at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018. It will help with potential matchmaking of the exhibitors and the visitors. The DEMO Area will provide a platform to demonstrate the performance of exhibitors’ machinery and equipment live at the show.

The expo is supported by Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) and Builders Association of India (BAI).
