ANAROCK Launches Lucknow Operations, City Head to Drive Tech-enabled Mandated Sales
Delhi, 3 June 2019: India’s leading real estate services firm ANAROCK Property Consultants today announced the launch of its office and operations in Lucknow. Anup Kumar Singh, previously senior Regional Manager at Square Yards (Lucknow) has been appointed as City Lead and will drive ANAROCK’s expansion in the rapidly-growing capital city of Uttar Pradesh.
Santhosh Kumar, Vice Chairman – ANAROCK Property Consultants says, “ANAROCK’s entry into Lucknow has been on our expansion charts for long, and we are happy to announce this significant milestone. Lucknow is one of India’s most important emerging property destinations, and Anup Kumar Singh has deep expertise in this city’s vibrant real estate market. He brings to the table 18 years of rich experience in driving sales of high-end residential properties located across Lucknow’s premium locations, and has excellent industry connections across the residential real estate value chain. Given ANAROCK’s technology-driven approach to the real estate business, his experience in this field will also be invaluable.”
In his previous role, Anup Singh managed high-ticket investors focused on Lucknow’s thriving property market and has an excellent track record of marketing residential projects and simultaneously handling the entire CRM process. Apart from managing housing inventory across mandated projects, he is passionate about tracking market trends and conducting feasibility and product mix studies.
Anup Singh, City Lead – Lucknow, ANAROCK Property Consultants looks forward to establishing ANAROCK as Lucknow’s most preferred real estate services firm for both developers and customers. “I am convinced that everything I have learned and achieved in dealing with real estate in Lucknow was leading to my spearheading ANAROCK’s growth story here,” he says. “I am privileged to assume a leadership position in India’s fastest-growing residential property consultancy. It is also a huge responsibility which will bring all my experience, capabilities and industry relationships into full play.”
Anup Singh takes up his new role at a critical juncture of Lucknow’s real estate market. The city has emerged as the destination of choice for investors from Uttar Pradesh’s other cities and towns including Sitapur, Barabanki, Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Unnao, among others. Mid-segment and affordable housing currently steer the bulk of realty growth in city, with nearly 47,100 new units launched in the INR 80 lakh budget in last 6 years.
Lucknow is riding high on fast-tracked infrastructure projects and a burgeoning medical tourism market. The capital city of UP saw housing sales increase by 19% in 2018 over 2017 – in fact, sales outpaced supply for the first time in the last six years. While unsold housing inventory in Lucknow has seen a yearly decline of 6% in period, unsold inventory nevertheless still stood at 21,080 units at the end of 2018.
ANAROCK’s launch in the City of Nawabs coincides with a wealth of opportunities for developers, investors and real estate consumers. Affordable and mid-segment properties, which account for about 88% share of the overall new supply in last five years, will be the Firm’s primary focal point.
With its highly successful, tech-enabled online-to-offline property marketing platform and an experienced leader in place, ANAROCK will focus on helping developers in Lucknow shed inventory through via mandated projects – and customers to get the best deals.
