Home sales up 42 pc in Delhi-NCR, says PropEquity report
The total absorption or sales of home units in Delhi-NCR and Chennai increased by 42 per cent and 3 per cent respectively in January this year, according to a report released by real estate data, research and analytics firm, PropEquity.
While the sale was 2,059 units in December 2020, it increased to 2,930 units in January 2021 in Delhi-NCR. In Chennai, it went up from 1,535 units in December 2020 to 1,584 units in January 2021.
However, compared to January last year, the sales dropped by 6 per cent this year – from 36,342 units to 34,149 units.
