Agency selection soon for Gr Noida township work

Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Ltd, the company responsible for building a 747-acre industrial township in Greater Noida’s Bodaki area, is set to select an agency for the work.

The township is being developed as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project.

“We are likely to issue the tender for the selection of the agency in the next one or two days. We will finalise an agency in the next two to three months to make way for the work to begin. Once the work on this project begins, we will complete it in the next two years,” a Greater Noida Authority official was quoted having said to a national daily in the Capital.

The Authority has already handed over 747 acres to the Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Ltd for the township.

“The selected agency will have the responsibility of developing infrastructure for setting up various kinds of industries. Once the basic infrastructure will be built, we will begin allotting space to industrialists, who will do business in the industrial corridor, which will be connected to Mumbai through the rail route and other far away markets,” said the official.
