Noida turns 40 year old
On 17th April 1976, Noida (New Okhla Industrial Development Authority) was formed for the development of integrated Industrial Township. Every year this day is celebrated as ‘Noida Day’. And now turning 40 this year, Noida has come a long way. What was conceptualised as an industrial zone transformed into a residential region which became possible due to world class infrastructure, connectivity, better living standards and presence of corporate sector.
Noida has revamped itself significantly which is praiseworthy. Today the place boasts of every amenity an ultra-modern developed city should have. Good road networks, metro connectivity, impressive residential spaces ranging from affordable to luxury ones, commercial projects, hospitals and educational institutions of international standards has made this place a top-notch destination to live and work. The development of rural Noida into an industrialized town is commendable and the journey still continues.
Manoj Gaur, MD, Gaursons India Ltd. said, “Noida is one of the most modern cities of India with world class amenities and infrastructure. Noida was set up as a part of urbanization thrust on the left bank of river Yamuna 40 year’s back. And today it stands high to be known as one of the largest planned industrial townships of Asia. Offering high standard of living to its populaces, Noida also ropes well with the industrial environment. This is the reason Noida real estate has been doing fairly well. Most of the big names in real estate and hospitality have their presence in Noida that is the reason the place has gained preference not only over other areas of NCR but also over major cities of our country. It is one of the fastest growing cities in India and the region still has a long way to go.”
Deepak Kapoor, President, Credai Western UP, said, “On this 17th April Noida will be completing its 40 years of establishment and it is a pride moment for all as the city has charted itself as one of the most developed and modern cities on the map of our country. Noida is known for excellent infrastructure, abundant greenery, high standards of living and excellent industrial as well as real estate development. The place has therefore been thriving high as an economic superpower. As a part of National Capital Region it is well-connected to Delhi which has opened up myriad of opportunities for the place. Noida is a flourishing region of North India and we hope the area grows to be one of the most distinguished cities globally.”
Prashant Tiwari, Chairman Prateek Group said, “Noida which is known as a prominent industrial hub and a top real estate destination of NCR is an exclusively planned city with matchless facilities. 40 years have passed and this region to its honor has a long listing of achievements. Noida encompasses a modern, proficient and comprehensive infrastructure embracing residential spaces, business centers, commercial areas, recreational areas, office complexes etc. giving a healthy lifestyle to its populaces. Noida due to its close proximity to national capital and charisma of world class infrastructure has very well supported the real estate development. The city is still developing with lot of plans in pipeline and we are very much positive that this region will be a star-city for our country in future.”
Sanjay Rastogi, Director, Saviour Builders Pvt. Ltd., said “Noida has been one of the forerunners when it comes to development with one of its kind growth story. 40 years unprecedented growth boasting of physical infrastructure, retail areas, commercial and residential spaces has made this place a modern and a sophisticated name. With the fast-paced infrastructural development in Noida, real estate growth has really picked up over the past few years. As a developing and growing city the future surely looks bright for Noida and we look forward to see this region touching skies with astounding growth.”
