TANA confers Lifetime Achievement Award on Naidu


Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said, “TANA is doing commendable, work in developing, nurturing, preserving and propagating culture specific to the Telugu people. The minister said that TANA members are investing their time, efforts and other resources to community services like conducting health camps, taking part in disaster relief activities across the world, arranging scholarships for students belonging to low income group etc.
The minister advised the Telugus of North America to excel in your profession through discipline, hard work and commitment. Go abroad, learn, earn and return to India, added the Minister.
Speaking about the opportunities that the Indian Government is creating Naidu said that India has got good human resources. “We have inherent skills. We need to upgrade them. That why PM Modi, has created a new Skill Development Ministry back home. He wants to transform India. MODI means ‘Making of Developed India”. He is transformer, wants to make India great.
Speaking on the occasion TANA President Mohan Nannapeni said, “One should never forget the service of eminent Telugu personalities who strived for the progress of Telugu community and upliftment of Telugu culture. He added that this event’s main aim is to honor people like them.
