Trehan Developers begins construction of Ram Temple at ‘ApnaGhar Shalimar’
New Delhi, Dec 27 — NCR-based Trehan Developers, who have already inhabited 200-acre township ApnaGhar Shalimar’ in Alwar, initiated the construction of a Ram Temple in the township.
The design of the temple, which is being built on about four acres of land in the ‘ApnaGhar Shalimar’ township, is inspired by the original Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The floor plate of the temple will be around 11,000 sq. ft.
“We are targeting to complete the temple by the first half of 2023. We are looking forward to inaugurate the temple on the auspicious day of “Ram Navami” in the year 2023,” said Harsh Trehan, Chairman, Trehan Group.
The construction of the Ram temple is expected to cost around Rs 15-20 crore. The temple complex will have big halls for functions like marriages besides residential units for priests and shops selling devotional items and puja offerings.
An effort is being made to narrate the entire Ramayana through 78 murals on the compound wall.
There will also be 51-feet idol of Shri Hanuman facing the temple with folded hands.
