Vegas Dwarka Celebrates Lohri With ‘Youth Matters’ Initiative

Vegas Dwarka hosted an event, ‘Youth Matters’, on January 13, 2024, aiming to celebrate the achievements of the youth while motivating them to embrace a coherent fitness journey. A press release issued by the company says that, attended by hundreds of fitness enthusiasts, the event featured engaging activities such as Health Fitness Games, Zumba Sessions, and Bhangra Workshops. Along with the physical activities, informative discussions were held on the benefits of healthy diets, the importance of controlling junk and fast food and busting myths about fitness.

Shabina Kundial, a renowned Zumba fitness expert, graced the occasion as a special guest and youth ambassador, sharing her career experiences and connecting with the audience. The event also incorporated Nukkad Nataks addressing social and mental well-being challenges faced by the youth today.

‘Youth Matters’ aimed to recognise the accomplishments of the youth while directing their energy towards constructive endeavours and better opportunities, fostering empowerment and awareness. The festivities extended into the evening with Lohri celebrations featuring classic Bhangra, Gidda, and Dhol performances by a Punjabi band. The Lohri-themed decor added a vibrant touch, complemented by a Punjabi-inspired menu offering delicious delights. Bonfire rituals marked the culmination of the Lohri celebrations.

Ravinder Choudhary, Vice President of Vegas Mall, stated, “It is extremely important to connect with the youth as they are the future of our country. ‘Youth Matters’ successfully broke barriers by linking fitness with the youth, encouraging them to explore new avenues and cultivate self-discipline. The Lohri festivities, featuring energetic dance performances and authentic Punjabi delicacies, were equally enjoyed by all the visitors, contributing to a memorable and holistic event experience. Our organising team did a great job making the event a grand success.”
