Chairman SAIL exhorts employees to be bold in decision making
New Delhi, January 01, 2018: Welcoming the year 2018, Chairman, SAIL, PK Singh wished entire SAIL collective on 1st Day of the New Year in a function held at Ispat Bhawan, Lodhi Road which was telecast through video conferencing link to SAIL plants/units across the country.
Enthusing employees to take charge of their destinies and write a new future for the company he said SAIL has overcome most of the difficulties. He added that, “We must be bold in our decision making and we have to overcome whatever is holding us back. Winning our fear of failure, we must accelerate the pace of turnaround. In order to achieve our targets we must synergise our internal processes, re-engineer our operations, improve our market orientation, organize our finances better and capitalize on our human resource.” Exhorting to finish the balance modernization and expansion projects he said, “We have commissioned most of our new facilities; the remaining ones are poised for early commissioning. We have to focus on potential utilization of all recently commissioned units in this year.”
Senior officers of the company and a large number of employees were also present on the occasion.
