Greater Noida to give 150 acres land to mobile firm
Greater Noida: The Greater Nodia Authority on Thursday said that it will allot 150 acres of land to a mobile and other electronic product manufacturing company, which will invest Rs.1,000 crore into the project set to be developed in Greater Noida’s Ecotech 6 and 7.
“After meeting on our land rate and policies, the manufacturers confirmed and agreed to set up the project. We have already shown the land to the company in Greater Noida. Today, we executed the final negotiations and now we will issue allotment letter before giving possession of the land”, said Deepak Agarwal, CEO, Geater Noida Authority.
UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also directed at the Greater Noida and the Yumuna Expressway Industrial development authorities to make available a dedicated land pool, where interested mobile makers and manufacturers of electronic products can set-up such projects.
“An Indian mobile handset maker and another one from China are interested in setting up units in Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway area. The Indian company wants 60 acres of land but due to shortage of land in Greater Noida , we are identifying land in Yamuna expressway area for these two companies”, said Agarwal.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority (YEIDA) will identify litigation-free land, to give these companies.
The UP Government is also in final negotiation to allot land to Patanjali of Baba Ramdev.
