Saint-Gobain commits Rs 4.5 cr for relief work
Saint-Gobain has joined forces with the Tamil Nadu Government in its efforts to provide relief to people during the second wave of COVID-19. The company has pledged Rs 4.5 croe to provide medical care to those affected by the pandemic.
It will provide two essential oxygen generation plants airfreighted from France; one for the Government Medical College Hospital Omandurar, in Chennai and the other for IRT Hospital at Perundurai in Erode.
The company also committed funds for providing oxygen concentrators, flow meters, medical kits, personal protective equipment (PPE) and other protective gear for frontline healthcare workers, public healthcare centers, and Government hospitals in Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Erode and Chennai.
