UP RERA to create micro website for case updates
Lucknow/Greater Noida: 87th Authority meeting of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Authoriy (UP RERA) held under the Chairmanship of Rajiv Kumar, decided to create a a micro-website on the main website of UP RERA, on which the promoters of the projects can inform about their pending cases in various Development Authorities of Uttar Pradesh and UPRERA will refer these cases to the concerned Development Authority from its level and monitor the progress.
A press release issued by UP RERA says that such cases often come to the notice of U.P. RERA, in which the promoters state that the matters related to their project are pending in the development authority, due to which the development of the project is getting hampered. It was found that some of these cases are related to uncompleted roads, delay in approval of map or under developed infrastructure by the concerned authority. In the absence of disposal of such cases, projects are not completed on time, which has a direct impact on the promoters as well as the home buyers. In case of non-completion of the project on time, the homebuyers are troubled to get possession and the promoter/builder also finds it difficult to complete the project on time.
Keeping all these difficulties in mind, it has been decided that a platform should be created where the promoters can give the information about their pending cases in any development authority of Uttar Pradesh, on the website of U.P. RERA and U.P. RERA can take updates of the progress of disposal of these cases from the concerned development authority.
The purpose of this arrangement is that if the matter related to the project of any promoter is pending in the development authority due to any reason, then it should be disposed of as soon as possible so that the project work can be completed in time. The link of this micro website will be available on the homepage of the portal of U.P. RERA. Through this link, the concerned promoters will be able to register their problems related to the development authority. Also, this facility will also be available to those promoters who are trying to get clearances and approvals from the development authorities for getting their project registered with RERA. Under this arrangement, along with registering the case on the portal of UP RERA, it will also appear on the dashboard of the concerned development authority.
All development authorities are being made aware of this arrangement by Uttar Pradesh RERA, so that efforts can be made to expedite the cases registered by them in RERA.
