Embassy Services Private Limited develops ESG framework for Real Estate operations
August 23, 2022: Embassy Services Private Limited (ESPL), the property management arm of Embassy Group, has announced their framework for Environmental, Social and Governance for Real Estate Operations (ESGRO). This will enable real estate operations (Integrated Facilities Management) in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through this framework, ESPL will help its clients pursue their ESG goals with a strategic approach and tend to the operational aspects of real estate management.
A press release issued by the company says that the framework not only addresses environmental performance and climate change with a prioritised focus on water stewardship, energy management, and waste management, it will also support the organisation’s social and governance facets of social equity, training & development, health & safety, wellbeing, employee engagement, CSR, supply-chain performance, risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, among others.
“We, at Embassy Services, are delighted to announce the launch of our ESGRO framework to implement sustainable real estate operations. ESG is not new to us – it’s foundational to the corporate strategy and deeply ingrained in our business operations at Embassy Group. Since we manage some of the largest business parks, solar plants, industrial parks, luxury residential properties, and commercial offices, we can leverage experiential practices to drive the ESG avenues of our clients in an advisory and implementable capacity,” said Pradeep Lala, MD & CEO of Embassy Services Private Limited.
