200 get notice for violating building norms in Vasundhra
GHAZIABAD: The Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Board (UPHDB) issued a notice to about 200 property owners for violating building regulation norms in the Vasundhra area. The action comes against the use of residential plots for commercial activities.
The board recently conducted a survey and found that residential properties were being used for commercial purposes without taking requisite permission from the department. The notices were issued to the property owners, directing them to stop commercial activities on residential properties else be ready to face the music.
“We have identified 200 properties for violating building norms. The department has already issued notices to these property owners. We will soon launch a sealing drive from February first week” said Deep Chand, Joint Commissioner of the UPHDB.
