Mumbai/Pune, March 31, 2022: Grade A industrial real estate and logistics parks developer, IndoSpace, hosted a waste awareness camp as part of its ongoing CSR initiative to build ‘Swachh Sundar Chakan’. Active since 2019, IndoSpace is aligned with the Government of India’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and runs a cleanliness drive in Chakan, near Pune.
The event was launched at the Gram Panchayats of Bhamboli and Mahalunge Ingale villages in association with SAHAAS, a nonprofit organisation working in the field of waste management and was attended by various local dignitaries. This year, IndoSpace also donated a new vehicle for waste collection enabling regular door-to-door collection.

Rajesh Jaggi, Vice Chairman – Real Estate, Everstone Group, said, “At IndoSpace we have prioritised our initiatives toward waste management, water, and health care, to reduce the overall impact on the environment. Sustainable waste management initiative undertaken in both these villages is a huge step towards the betterment of the societies we operate in. In addition, we continue to partner with associations and communities around our parks to work together towards the betterment of the society.”
