DDA unveils customer-friendly facilities
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched customer-friendly facilities to help them in property matters. The facilities are special camps for conversion, Nagrik Suvidha Kendras and video on the procedure of conversion of leasehold property to freehold.
DDA has already started a special camp for conversion of leasehold properties to freehold from May 26 to June 4, 2014. This camp has been very successful and so far 497 cases have been finalized which comprised the issue of CD papers and finalization of mutation cases.
“In addition, 96 conveyance deeds have been executed. A feedback form had been provided at the camp for all the visitors. The feedback has been very good and the public has been appreciative of the DDA’s efforts,’ DDA said in a statement.
Also, the authority has a plan to start 4 Nagrik Suvidha Kendras for conversion of property from leasehold to freehold in 4 zones of Delhi i.e., Rohini, Laxmi Nagar, Dwarka, and at Vikas Sadan. The Kendras will be operational by the first week of June 2014.
As far as video on the procedure of conversion of lease-hold property is concerned, a video film giving details of the conversion process has been uploaded on the DDA website and can be viewed by the public by clicking the leasehold to freehold link provided on the website of DDA.
“The film gives details of the procedure, documentation, etc in various cases of conversion for DDA flats and cooperative society flats,” it said.
